As time passes, frost and hydrostatic pressure cause the soil around your foundation to constantly move and apply tremendous force against your basement walls. This may cause them to crack, bow, and bulge. Eco-Seal proposes two solutions to solve this problem.
First, Eco-Seal utilizes the Power Brace Wall Bracing System to work against the forces of nature. The Power Brace Wall Bracing System uses steel I-beams to reinforce the bowing and bulging wall. With time, the system can force the wall back into its original position. This system is popular and effective since it requires no outside digging. It also requires no cementing inside your home; we anchor the beams into the existing concrete floor.
As a second option, we also work with Rhino® Carbon Fiber Wall Supports. The five inch carbon fiber is fastened to the sill plate up top and secured to the foundation floor with a carbon fiber pin. Deterioration does not occur because the patented carbon fiber system links the foundation base with the actual house framing, allowing for a more even distribution of pressure. Rhino® Carbon Fiber Wall Supports can easily be painted or covered with white wall panels for a better appearance.
